? 不符合童年記憶
三十多年來，小美人魚愛麗兒（Ariel）一直都是紅發(fā)碧眼的白種人，動畫版電影中的形象經(jīng)久不衰，而真人版電影如此大刀闊斧地修改人設(shè)，破壞了許多人的童年回憶。
? 迪士尼可以創(chuàng)作新故事
有網(wǎng)友認為，如果想要種族多元化，迪士尼完全可以創(chuàng)作屬于黑人的故事，迪士尼也并非沒有黑人公主，《公主和青蛙》（The Princess and the Frog）的女主蒂安娜就是最好的例子。
另外，《小美人魚》的特效也不盡如人意，許多觀眾表示，水下鏡頭看起來十分不真實，沒能渲染出海底世界的氛圍。
