▍我們躊躇
將要到來的日子是個(gè)分水嶺。
你們要增強(qiáng)信念，敬重圣像
才能安然度過。這件事已經(jīng)排上日程，
你們，還有你們的身體懸于一線。
剛過去的事如同陰郁而巨大的希望
在叢林之上招搖，猶如一只巨人的手掌
臨時(shí)放在疾行的云朵之上。
盆地變得豐盈而且復(fù)雜。
但這還不夠。尷尬和憂慮
涌上心頭?！八麄儊砑依铮筒粫兄淞R。”
火攪擾著夜晚。沒人能聽到這件事。
或者有時(shí)候人們會忘記。
就像孩子一樣。我用了好幾個(gè)月時(shí)間
打破那條禁令，但有什么用呢？
能阻止什么？你還是那個(gè)理智、世故的人：
暮氣沉沉，在這段路途，想入非非。

We Hesitate
The days to come are a watershed.
You have to improve your portrait of God
To make it plain. It is on the list,
You and your bodies are on the line.
The new past now unfurls like a great somber hope
Above the treeline, like a giant's hand
Placed tentatively on the hurrying clouds.
The basins come to be full and complex.
But it is not enough. Concern and embarrassment
Grow rank. Once they have come home there is no cursing.
Fires disturb the evening. No one can hear the story.
Or sometimes people just forget
Like a child. It took me months
To get that discipline banned, and what is the use,
To ban that? You remain a sane, yet sophisticated, person:

“寫出來的詩，讓評論家們都無從說起……”這是這首詩作者宣稱自己寫詩的目標(biāo)。這個(gè)小老頭兒，會不會一邊看著別人對他的作品的評論，一邊得意地想著“關(guān)于這里，還有關(guān)于那里，你們通通都猜錯！”眼中會不會有些孩子氣的狡黠？
如果你正好處于，自以為處于，人生的一個(gè)重大轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)頭，第一句話肯定擊中你：“將要到來的日子是個(gè)分水嶺。”
“剛過去的事”，在我打出這幾個(gè)字的時(shí)候，它們已經(jīng)成為最新的過去。即使它們停滯下來，你會發(fā)現(xiàn)，另一種匆匆又正在以它們?yōu)閰⒄瘴铮婚W而逝。
還不夠么？
那驚擾整個(gè)夜晚的火，是因何而起？轉(zhuǎn)眼，發(fā)生過的一起都會被遺忘，像從來未曾發(fā)生過。
可是，我還是希望那些最新的，次新的，和不那么新的過去，都會是些好的過去。實(shí)在不行，我就安慰自己：“I'm just experiencing the experiences!”
