目前，你可以在Eclipse.org網(wǎng)站上下載到一個PDF文件：RCPApplication.pdf（5月31日發(fā)表的），收錄了大量Open Source和Commercial的RCP應(yīng)用程序。其中，包括了我之前曾經(jīng)提到過的RSSOwl （一個基于SWT的RSS Reader），IBM Workplace (Lotus的新一代客戶端），Eclipse Trader （一個基于RCP的實(shí)時股票分析軟件），jLibrary （一個基于RCP的Desktop Content Management），以及NASA (美國航天航空局)用于控制火星探路者和分析結(jié)果的NASA JPL。
日前，Martin Perez （jLibrary的作者）在自己的blog中給出了一些針對SWT做的custom widgets。而SWTPlus.com也發(fā)表了兩款widgets，可以下載使用。
隨著Eclipse 3.1的即將發(fā)布，以及3.1中對RCP更強(qiáng)大和簡單化的支持，基于RCP的應(yīng)用將會越來越多。IBM alphaWorks日前也發(fā)表了一個SWT Data Binding，即將SWT應(yīng)用和后臺的數(shù)據(jù)（EJB或者其他數(shù)據(jù)源）進(jìn)行邦定（“It provides users with the ability to connect the visual SWT elements of the Java application so that they can access data from various data sources”），從而簡化使用SWT進(jìn)行基于數(shù)據(jù)庫的開發(fā)。使用Eclipse Visual Editor 和這個新的數(shù)據(jù)邦定技術(shù)，可以預(yù)見到，SWT的開發(fā)將更加簡單（也許就像Visual Baisc或者Delphi那樣“所見即所得”了）。
