主謂一致之就近原則（一）
從這一講開始，Master Osifu English為大家講解主謂一致，何謂主謂一致？顧名思義，主謂一致即主語的單復(fù)數(shù)與謂語的單復(fù)數(shù)保持一致。就近原則就是謂語動詞的人稱和數(shù)與最近的主語保持一致。下面Master Osifu English 給大家一一列出：
1,當(dāng)兩個主語由or, either …or, neither …nor, whether…or…, not only…but also連接時，謂語動詞與鄰近的主語一致。
例如：Either the teacher or the students are our friends.
若交換一下主語，則為Either the students or the teacher is our friends.
Tom or his brothers are waiting in the room.
若交換一下主語，則為His brothers or Tom is waiting in the room.
Neither they nor he is wholly right.
此句若交換一下主語，則為Neither he or they are wholly right.
2.there be 句型中be動詞單復(fù)數(shù)取決于其后的主語。若主語由and連接，則應(yīng)與靠近的那個主語保持一致。
例如：There are two apples and a pear in the bag.
此句若這樣，則為There is a pear and two apples in the bag.

此題考查的主謂一致，按照就近原則，Jack and I是兩個人，謂語動詞應(yīng)為復(fù)數(shù)，故選A.
如果nor后只有I，則可選B.

A.are; are B.am; am C.am; are D.is; is
解析：答案C.
此題考查的主謂一致，按照就近原則, I 與am搭配；both of us為復(fù)數(shù)，與are 搭配，故選C.
4.There ____a pen, two pencils and three books on the desk.
A.are B.is C.has D.have
解析：答案B.
此題考查的主謂一致，按照就近原則,a pen為單數(shù)，謂語動詞應(yīng)為is, 故選B.
