Backup Controlfile to Trace

A Simple Fact:

可以通過 ALTER DATABASE BACKUP CONTROLFILE TO TRACE來備份控制文件，產(chǎn)生的trace 文件中包含了用來創(chuàng)建控制文件的文本內(nèi)容，不是二進制形式的，產(chǎn)生的trace文件默認是放在udump目錄下的。

 

 

但是很不幸的是，我嘗試了很多次這個命令，但是在udump下愣是沒有找到任何trace文件！ 如下....

現(xiàn)在來執(zhí)行backup controlfile的命令...

SQL> alter database backup controlfile to trace;

Database altered.

SQL> alter database backup controlfile to trace;

Database altered.

SQL> /

Database altered.

SQL> /

Database altered.

SQL>

雖然執(zhí)行了很多次backup controlfile to trace的命令，但是udump目錄下任何trace 文件都沒有產(chǎn)生！

[oracle@ora10g udump]$ ls
[oracle@ora10g udump]$ ls
[oracle@ora10g udump]$ ls
[oracle@ora10g udump]$ ls -l
total 0
[oracle@ora10g udump]$

后來發(fā)現(xiàn)，同一個session只會生成一次trace文件，我剛開始刪掉了udump下面所有的trace文件，其中就包括了之前那個session對應的trace文件。因此無論我后來執(zhí)行了多少次的backup control file to trace的命令，udump下面也不會產(chǎn)生trace文件。解決方法就是先斷掉之前的那個session,重新連接數(shù)據(jù)庫再執(zhí)行命令，如下，

SQL> exit

現(xiàn)在再到udump目錄下看看有沒有trace文件生成....

現(xiàn)在看到生成了一個新的trace文件?？纯磘race文件的內(nèi)容...

問題雖然解決了，但是為了避免每次都要去判斷哪個trace文件才對應backup controlfile命令，有沒有一種方法可以指定生成trace文件的路徑信息呢？Oracle自然應該支持這個很樸素的想法需求的。

可以通過如下的命令來備份控制文件到指定的trace文件中...

--Backing it up in a binary format:
alter database backup controlfile to '/some/arbitrary/path';
alter database backup controlfile to '/some/arbitrary/path' reuse;


--Backing it up in a human readable format:
alter database backup controlfile to trace as '/some/arbitrary/path';
alter database backup controlfile to trace as '/some/arbitrary/path' reuse;

 

來測試下...

SQL> alter database backup controlfile to trace
