2、表示二者比較時用比較級(特別是出現(xiàn)than時)
3、比較級變化規(guī)則:
a.單音節(jié)詞末尾加-er,如tall-taller;
b.單音節(jié)詞如果以-e結尾,只加-r,如brave-braver;nice-nicer
c.閉音節(jié)詞如果末尾只有一個輔音字母,需要雙寫這個字母,再加-er,
如big-bigger;fatter;thinner;
d.少數(shù)以-y結尾的詞,如果-y前是輔音字母,則變y為i,再加-er,
如heavy-heavier.

3.副詞比較級句型要考慮主語是不是第三人稱單數(shù):
A. 肯定句:
主語是第三人稱單數(shù),行為動詞用第三人稱單數(shù)形式:Jim runs slower than Ben.
主語不是第三人稱單數(shù),行為動詞用原形:I jump higher than some of the boys.
B. 否定句:
主語是第三人稱單數(shù),doesn’t+動原: Nancy doesn’t get up earlier than Helen.
主語不是第三人稱單數(shù),don’t+動原: You don’t go to bed later than Jim.
C. 一般疑問句:
Do+主語+動原。。。。。。?Yes,…do. /No,…don’t.
Does+主語+動原。。。。。?Yes,….does. /No,…doesn’t.
4.副詞比較等級形式的變化與形容詞大致相同,但以后綴-ly結尾的副詞一般用more。如:carefully→ more carefully
