2014年4月9日，國外媒體報道了OpenSSL“心臟流血”漏洞，成千上萬的網(wǎng)站和軟件程序受波及。早期的Opera12.x瀏覽器也受到這次安全風(fēng)險沖擊。所幸的是，Opera并沒有拋棄早期產(chǎn)品。今天，Opera瀏覽器團隊推送了Opera12.17修復(fù)版。
據(jù)Opera官方博客(http://blogs.opera.com/desktop/2014/04/opera-12-17/)介紹，早期Wiindows版Opera12產(chǎn)品容易遭受“心臟出血”（Heartbleed）漏洞攻擊，網(wǎng)絡(luò)罪犯可以通過未授權(quán)的Opera簽名發(fā)起攻擊。這次也在Opera12.17版本中成功修復(fù)漏洞。
除此之外，Opera 12.17也解決了Windows版自動更新機制的安全問題，可能被第三方利用簽名完成攻擊。
注：早期的Opera 12.x產(chǎn)品采用了Presto商業(yè)內(nèi)核，并不是現(xiàn)在的Chromium內(nèi)核。

Even though Presto does not use any vulnerable parts of OpenSSL,the standalone autoupdater for Opera 12 on Windows does.
The autoupdater runs in a separate process, and doesn't havemuch memory to leak, but might potentially leak system informationin such a case, such as local username on Windows machines. We aimto get an update out soon.

We have gone through our servers and upgradedthem, including changing certificates. We are in the process ofrevoking the old certificates, and we have changed all internalpasswords. User passwords used on our services have not beenexposed, including for Opera Mini, but passwords for third partyservices like blog comments and forums, may have been exposed. Youmay want to change those passwords, including for any sites wherethose passwords may have been reused.
