Ubuntu 12.04下配置xorg.conf
在新版的 Ubuntu 中，默認(rèn)系統(tǒng)不會生成 xorg.conf 文件。但如果需要為X配置一些高級功能，這個文件是必須的。
- 避免手動填寫內(nèi)容麻煩和易錯，可以用下面的幾個命令生成新的 xorg.conf 文件(注意需要在真正的終端里面運(yùn)行，而并非X環(huán)境下的終端模擬器)：
# first stop display manager, assuming gdm is usedsudo service gdm stop # generate new configure file for X, the file created is "xorg.conf.new" in current directorysudo Xorg -configure # move configure file to target directorysudo mv xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf # restart display manager, assuming gdm is usedsudo service gdm start
