O2, the Singapore-based cellular handset maker, has introduced "Xda Atom", "world‘s smallest multimedia PDA-phone" in India. The new handset comes with multiple features specially designed to suit the necessities of the professionals.
Weighing just 140 grams, the new device is a well-built combination of entertainment, productivity and connectivity.
Small, light, fast and powerful, "Xda Atom" works on Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system and comes with a built-in wireless LAN.
The PDA phone features a 2.0 mega pixel camera, built in white LED strobe flash that helps in capturing pin-sharp photos and richly hued videos indoors and out doors.
It can also be used as an MP3 player. It would be possible to create playlists on the device and bypass a PC altogether, or go wireless and listen to music in stereo playback with Bluetooth headsets.
"Xda Atom" by O2 can help view PowerPoint files, create tables and charts using Word and Excel and also access e-mail accounts while on the move.
The handset that enables high-speed data connectivity, is priced at Rs 38,888.
