基地坐落于嘉興市南湖區(qū)同濟(jì)大學(xué)浙江學(xué)院內(nèi)，地處城市副中心輻射帶，交通便利、人文薈萃、環(huán)境優(yōu)美。基地在原有校園規(guī)劃中為國(guó)際交流中心，位于學(xué)校北面的島上，周邊被河水環(huán)繞。功能被定義為具有接待、會(huì)議、餐飲、健身理療、辦公、住房等的高端會(huì)所區(qū)和住宅區(qū)。該方案綜合并最大化利用了場(chǎng)地的地形特征和建筑本身的功能特點(diǎn)。我們運(yùn)用中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)的“汀步”形態(tài)作為設(shè)計(jì)的出發(fā)點(diǎn)，將建筑體量打散后再連接，并且在外部設(shè)置連續(xù)步道。在保證內(nèi)部功能的良好銜接的同時(shí)，最大化了每個(gè)功能部分的采光、通風(fēng)和景觀，更創(chuàng)造出了如園林般亦斷亦連的精彩內(nèi)部空間和外部院落；外部形象上，建筑群小巧輕靈的功能塊被一個(gè)連續(xù)、起伏的屋頂統(tǒng)一，表達(dá)出如群山般低調(diào)雄厚而又豐富多變的氣質(zhì)。

The project is located in Tongji University Zhejiang College, Jiaxing. The site is on an island in the north side of campus. The design applies the idea of traditional Chinese “stepping stones” as the morphological start point. A series of seemlying hinged cubes are spatialy connected to each other, with ramps that surround. This overall form creates an ambiguity that is concurrently continuous and discontinuous between the programmed zones. The four unique courtyards are either closed or semi-open to the surrounding environment, providing natural daylight, campus views and fresh ventilation. The volumes are covered by a continuous and fluctuant roof, which expresses a sense of mountain-like steadiness.
