今天來(lái)探究一下take用作 “花費(fèi)”時(shí)的用法。
中學(xué)時(shí)候，老師講過(guò)，take作“花費(fèi)”時(shí)候，是以物作主語(yǔ)，其實(shí)不然，現(xiàn)代英語(yǔ)中越來(lái)越多的用“人”作主語(yǔ)。什么？不敢用？世界級(jí)權(quán)威教材中有很多例句支撐這個(gè)語(yǔ)法點(diǎn)，看過(guò)的再寫(xiě)，聽(tīng)過(guò)的再說(shuō)，所以大膽用。
物作主語(yǔ)（中文翻譯為今日練習(xí)）
I went on an excursion recently, but my trip took me longer than I expected.

人作主語(yǔ)（中文翻譯為今日練習(xí)）

對(duì)spend。
用法為spend…on sth.或spend…(in) doing sth.

《清明上河圖》
中國(guó)古代名畫(huà)《清明上河圖》（Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival）描繪的是北宋都城汴京在清明時(shí)節(jié)繁華熱鬧的景象。清明上河是當(dāng)時(shí)的民間習(xí)俗，人們可以借以參加商貿(mào)活動(dòng)，就像今天的節(jié)日集會(huì)一樣。全圖規(guī)模宏大，結(jié)構(gòu)嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)，大致分為三個(gè)段落：第一是市郊景畫(huà)，第二段是汴河，第三段城內(nèi)街市。畫(huà)家通過(guò)對(duì)汴京城內(nèi)建筑、商貿(mào)、交通、運(yùn)輸幾個(gè)方面的描繪，再現(xiàn)了北宋都城的繁華和發(fā)達(dá)。
1.“繁華”和“熱鬧”可以翻譯為bustling和flourishing；
2. 北宋朝，North Song Dynasty；
3. 清明上河，這個(gè) “上”是個(gè)動(dòng)詞“去，到”的意思，所以 “上河”可以翻譯為“going to Bian River”；
4. 第三句話(huà)難度最大，這里給出主干句子與提示：
The painting features grand and complex scenes with a rigorous structure在加上which引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句，which can broadly be divided into three parts:…………………
5. 最后一句可以轉(zhuǎn)換下句子，“…的描繪再現(xiàn)了北宋的….”，這樣可以使得句子更加緊湊。
