什么是智人？
說起智人，其實他在自然界中還是聽起來挺厲害的。Homo Sapiens是世界上分布最廣、種群數(shù)量最大的靈長類動物（primate）。他們用兩足行走（bipedality）并且擁有大而復雜的大腦。
Homo sapiens are the most populous and widespread species of primates, characterized by bipedality and large complex brains.
智人是高度社會化的生物（social being） 。他們通常居住在龐大、復雜的社會中，而這些社會是由繁多的合作或競爭群體組成。這些群體可以包括家庭、親屬關系網(wǎng)絡甚至國家。
智人之間的社會交流發(fā)展出了多種多樣的價值觀（value）、社會規(guī)則（social norm）和儀式（ritual），而這些都增強了社會的作用。智人好奇心強、希望了解并影響環(huán)境、解釋并利用自然現(xiàn)象，他們在這些渴望的驅(qū)動下發(fā)展出了包括科學、哲學、神學、宗教在內(nèi)的多領域知識。

為什么是智人？
嚴格來說，人類在生物學上的名稱為Homo sapiens sapiens，這個命名結(jié)構是genus species subspecies，即屬、種、亞種。
生物的拉丁學名是由該生物在生物分類學（taxonomy）中的定位決定的，分為七個級別：界（kingdom）、門（phylum）、綱（class）、目（order）、科（family）、屬（genus）、種（species）。

人類是屬于動物界（Animalia）、脊索動物門（Chordata）、哺乳綱（Mammalia）、靈長目（Primates）、人科（Hominidae）、人屬（Homo）的一種生物。
“智人”（homo sapiens）這個拉丁學名中的homo是屬（genus）的名稱，在拉丁語中是“人”（man）的意思。Sapien在拉丁語中的意思為“有智慧的”（one who knows）。
智人這一物種曾存在有很多亞種，但是他們也都滅絕了，比如歐洲的尼安德特人（Homo sapiens neanderthalensis）?，F(xiàn)存人類就是人屬中僅剩的一支物種，也同時是智人這個物種中僅存的一個亞種，所以用homo sapiens指代人類也是可以的。

有人說智人滅絕這件事很傷心但是她并不關心。

這些回答看起來搞笑，但是背后還是包含著一個值得我們深思的問題。正如節(jié)目中主持人說的那樣，世界上有很多植物和動物瀕臨滅絕。而人類對這件事的關心還不如聽到“披薩要滅絕”的反應強烈。
