副詞短語(yǔ)在句中的功能相當(dāng)于副詞，通常在句中作定語(yǔ)、表語(yǔ)或者狀語(yǔ)。

33. at one time曾經(jīng)，一度，同時(shí)

用法：at one time通常和過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)連用，類似的詞組還有at one time or another。

例句：The grasslands were enclosed with hedges by the villagers at one time.

草地曾經(jīng)被村民們用樹(shù)籬圈起來(lái)。

結(jié)構(gòu)分析：The grasslands是主語(yǔ)（the是定冠詞，作前置定語(yǔ)），were enclosed是謂語(yǔ)（過(guò)去一般時(shí)，被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)）， with hedges是介詞詞組作狀語(yǔ)， by the villagers是介詞詞組作狀語(yǔ)， at one time是時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)。

用法：at present用作時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)，通常和一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)或者現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)連用。類似的詞組還有for the moment。

35. at random隨機(jī)，任意

用法：at random通常在句中或者句尾，用來(lái)修飾動(dòng)詞。類似的詞組還有at will。

例句：First of all, you should select one number at random.

首先，你要隨機(jī)挑選一個(gè)數(shù)字。

用法：at the latest通常和將來(lái)時(shí)態(tài)連用，同義詞組有at latest。

例句：You will receive the parcel on January 15th at the latest.
